I do not remember Pac going to PR. Prof?? Felix Sturm is the best sparing partner for Pac but I think he would get the best of him and may hurt him before DLH. It would be a great way for sturm to get a rematch with DLH after PAC gets KO. I see the story line.

If Pac is able to hang with Sturm, he should be able to hang with DLH. But I'm assuming they're gonna have Manny in there with headgear against such a guy. Otherwise, as you say Manny could get seriously hurt. I don't think Sturm will ever get DLH again since there's not as much money in the fight. That could change if Sturm takes the Abraham route and fights in the US a few times to build it up.

Sturm has to fight Sylvester soon, and believe me that is no cakewalk for him.
A lot of people are picking Sylvester to win, so that's not set in stone.

Every Pac training camp there's always these stories of him killing these sparring partners, then gets in the ring and wins decisions when they say that ****.
I suppose it's good for the hype train.
The truth will come in December.

So, who is he actually battering? It says he has only sparred a few rounds with a couple of guys and it wasn't even serious sparring, so who the hell has he been 'battering' already?

Well, I guess we'll see how Filipino ring idol and national treasure Manny Pacquiao does when the real sparring starts eh?

Its a mismatch but dont write off Pacquiao so easily. He's knocked down a certified welterweight in Miguel Cotto when he was a superfeather in sparring so he's still a very live underdog

Sturm would be an excellent sparring partner. I'm pretty sure he could emulate Oscar's style, too. Oscar was Felix's idol when he was younger, and controversial though it may be, Felix beat Oscar, as far as many of us are concerned.

abs cbn has a video of pac sparring with cotto but they took it down. it was the right hook followed by a straight left that sent cotto's glove touching the canvas. anyway, cotto looked fat during that sparring. that's probably why pac was able to outmanuever him

I don't know what good it would do Sturm though. I don't see how it would happen as Sturm is fighting in a couple of weeks against a very tough opponent he could very well lose to, and Pac isn't ideal for him at this point, so this Sturm sparring just seems like talk to me.
