I think Morales was the underdog, but I might be mistaken.

After all, Morales had just lost to Barrera, and Pacquiao was still on an undefeated streak after his shocking (at the time) upset of Barrera 126.

I mean, really, he hadn't ever not made weight for a fight back when there was talk of them fighting at 130, right?

By the way, I think the much better argument you should go for instead of Guzman is irrelevant... is that he moved up to 135, immediately took a belt and is taking a tougher fight right now as we speak. It's not like Pacquiao has taken a ton of fights off to fight weak competition, so there are reasons why he hasn't fought people like Valero, Soto and Guzman. It's not that he has been ducking them to fight terrible fighters, there are just too many good fighters out there right now.

Its a very straight forward question. Who has a better RESUME @130 ????

      94 - PAC

      76 - PBF

It's very obvious that it is PAC. but do i think PAC beats PBF @130? NO!!!!
It just so happened that Pac's competition is better compared to the time of PBF.

*No out of prime bull ****s please....

Yeah you have a point on that, but Pacman prefers a fight that's is better from this fighter that's why Soto, Guzman including Valero did not prosper and fight did not happens because of their Promoters idea and handpicking Pacmans opponents.

In the case of Barrera I think he WAS shopworn by the time Pacquiao faced him. I'm less convinced about Morales. Marquez is a different story: I haven't seen any sign of mileage catching up to him yet. Barrera and Morales not being established at 130 is a point well taken.

and pacman lost to Morales the 1st time after grueling fights with Barrera. It's easily Floyd.

                    both are good.

the different is the people watching the fight.

pac is exciting with good resume. eventhough he got lost in 1st morales fight.

pbf is boring with excellent resume.

style makes fight. this will make the difference between boring and exciting fight

                      at 130 Mayweather was boring?

wow now I heard it all

and it Floyd and like Dazed said its not even close. Those picking Manny are picking solely based on the name and their past accomplishments while failing to recognize how the people Floyd faced at 130 did post Mayweather.

Chavez- went on to become a titleist again in fact he is a two time champ post Floyd

Famoso- won a title after Mayweather beat him.

Chico- wins a title at 130 then moves up to face Popo and beats him to be a titleist at 135 as well. Beats Castillo in arguably the best fight we have seen.

Chicanito- retired with the only two losses of his career being DLH (who made him go to 135) and Floyd.

                      now Manny's

Morales- 1-2 against Manny at 130. Lost his bid to be a 135kb titelist against David Diaz, who Manny bludgeoned in his bid to be a lightweight titleist

Barrera- 0-1 against Manny at 130. Has not fought since and was basically out of the fight by round 4

Marquez- 0-1 against Manny at 130. The best win for Manny at 130 and it's controversial. Goes on to beat the Ring Titliest at 135 in Casamayor. Probably Manny's best overall name

Larios- lost a punishing fight to Linares, continues to fight even after Drs recommended he dont, was given the wbc belt and barely beat an unknown 16-0 fight from Japan to keep it....at featherweight
