B-Hop Is lean,Will he come to fight?
I think B-Hop is definately up for this fight,He looks leaner and in better shape than he did for the Calzaghe fight in which he looked more muscular.Bernard has most likely instead opted to train for endurance so he definately aint taking this fight likely.Maybe he will actually fight this time!
Bernard has already said in this fight like he will look like he's 25 so maybe he wil turn back time and make this a genuinely competitive fight.Check this here: http://youtube.com/watch?v=NPJgceiaAv4Comment

To his credit, though...B-Hops took on a VERY tough assignment for his pro debut as Clinton Mitchell was a highly ranked light heavy in the amateurs (top 5 nationally at times) at the same time I was...he won the NYCGG and matched up with the likes of Andrew maynard etc....Hops was in DEEP for a first pro fight, definitelyComment

But you could also look at it like this: Bernard is good at turning things around for himself.

The reason I'm such a Hopkins is fan is BECAUSE of his determination and dedication to the Sweet Science. He deprives himself of worldly pleasures like drinking, no smoking, he never eats bad, and the only thing he has thought since he began his pro career was to be recognized as an all-time great. His mind state alone is what makes me a fan.
Besides that, his technicality in the ring is a thing of beauty. He times his opponents to the second and throws punches to disrupt them, and he mentally throws them off guard. That's why I will forever be a fan of Bernard Hopkins.
Is is officially October 18th, and the only time that will be told on this day is EXECUTION TIME.Comment

No, I cannot say we are friends...I have met him a couple times, spoke about a common opponent but that was about it. First time I ever saw him up close was in Atlantic City in 1992 at the Roy Jones-Percy Harris fight...he would have been unrecognized I think if it wasn't for the fact that he had these two HUGE guys in "executioner gear" (completewith the hatchets, etc) standing next to him at all time as he sat in the front row...it really was an interesting and attention getting gimmickComment
