Did Oscar take a dive? It seems some people think he did. I'm just curious why people think that

someone explain WHY THE *** WOULD U THROW A FIGHT???? TO MAKE BERNARD A STAR?? Oscar dont care about him like that, if he would hvae beat bernard it would have erased all the doubts about the sturm fight and actually made his 160 run credible. Bernard won fair and square

Only Oscar knows the answer to this question. People say he took a dive because it seems as if the shot Bhop hit him with was nothing more than a slap on the side of his belly. Then for Oscar to react the way that he did was a bit over the top. I have seen people hit with gruesome body/liver shots, and they never reacted the way Oscar did.

Maybe so he could reep all the benefits? He did sign with Golden Boy as a co-promoter soon after.

It's possible Oscar looked for a way out too. Either way I think he could have fought on. Just my opinion.
