yes, after cintron got back to his old self after having a hard time with his last opponent he called for margy and thought that he was ready for the rematch... but we all know that it took a big man to ask for a fight with a guy that stopped you the first time...and here comes cotto after his comeback fight, wait, he haven,t even fought a comeback fight yet but, he still asked to rematch margy...ok, remember the face cintron had when they put them in each other face, all i could see was a blank stare from cintron...and , well , before anybody says anything i still say that the ass whooping that cotto took will have a effect on him and when the rematch come to past watch the staredown and see if it,s the same face as cintron...

Cotto boxed Marg's ass off and hit him wit everything but the kitchen sink. Marg all but laughed at his hardest shots, walked him down, and beat him to a bloody pulp. That kinda **** sticks wit a fighter mentally and physically. No way Cotto could be confident goin into a rematch. He's got heart, but his pride is gonna get him ****ed up bad.Comment

Yea, that's whats worrying me too. It's not his pride to get back into the ring, but it's his pride that could make him want to hurt Margs like Margs hurt him. If he tries to do that he's ****ed again. I don't think he boxed that well in the first fight, Margo baited him into a fight. He threw more jabs and more counters, but that doesn't necessarily mean he boxed better. If he's smarter and has the stamina to box well, he can definitely win. I'm just worried he's going to go out there so intent on revenge that he's going to try and KO Marg and if that's the case he's going to get knocked out quicker.Comment

Cotto strikes me as being more defiant than Cintron. I see him in another frame of mind e.g. "Yeah mutha****a... try it now..."
You gotta realize, some of us don't respect a loss. I wouldn't. I would tell Margie I don't think you can... let's go!
The way I see it 2 diff. mindsets.
1) OMG he hits hard I want no more.
2) Yeah mutha****a... The harder you hit you me... the more I need kill you.
I think Cotto was more fatigued than hurt. When you are gassed out your ability to absord is greatly reduced. I saw Cotto taking shots all night with except for a body shot or 2. or conversly, Cotto could be thinking: "I beat his ass for 6 rounds and did not go to the body... I was out-boxing him even while walking myself back and sitting on ropes... imagine what I can do if I fight my fight... stay in the center...Come on now... watch ANY Margie fight and you will see.. he does not like to be punched in the center of the ring... he freezes up. There is NOTHING Clottey can hit Margie with that Cotto cannot in terms of firepower that commands respect. Cotto needs to tighten up the defense on against thosefree triple left upper cuts he was letting marg get off and he will win.
Cotto was so eager to land a body shot... that he would meditate on the ropes looking for the opening and that allowed Marg to land silly uppercuts sloow upper cuts too. Cotto let his guard down lookin for the body shot.

cotto probably will not have gotten his confidence back by the time he has another staredown with marg is an intimidating character especially after seeing the way he chased cotto around the ring and no punches hurt him(margarito)Comment

Cintron was mentally beaten up, Cotto was physically beaten up. Huge difference. Even in the rematch, Cintron started bending his head and looking towards the ref in the 2nd or 3rd round.Comment
