Biggest age difference where the older fighter won?

With the 17 yr, 3 1/2 mo age difference between Hopkins and Pavlik this weekend, I got to wondering what the largest age differences have been in history. You have a 25 yr, 1 mo diff between Moore and Ali, but of course Ali won. You have an 18 yr, 10 mo diff between Foreman and Moorer. Anyone know of any others?

Well yeah, most people thought George won that won, but I mean officially.

That'll work. I was going to qualify title fights only, but since there's no title on the line in this one, I can't. I think Big George is the winner so far for the Axel Schulz fight, 19 years, 10 months.

At age 54, one of Ron Lyle's comeback opponents was the 0-18 Ed Strickland, who was 28. Another, Tim Pollard, was 26.

In regards to title fights, Archie Moore's birthdate is more likely to be 1916, instead of 1913.

If it were 1913, then he'd be 21 years older than Tony Anthony and Giuliuo Rinaldi, who he defended the LHW title against, rather than "just" 18.

Good stuff, TS. Looks like Duran was 18 years, 10 1/2 mo older than 19-2 Patrick Goosen, 49 to 30. I think the most impressive would've been Foreman if he would've gotten the nod against Briggs.
