De La Hoya-Mayorga is a pretty sick countdown. I don't like De La Hoya's personality that much, but it got you pumped up.

You weren't the only one my friend because watching hopkins on 24/7 will even put any insomniacs to sleep.

            Hatton-Mayweather

two different countries, two different cultures, two different fighting styles, Mayweather's family issues, Hatton's comedy one-liners. It had a lot to offer.

hatton-mayweather were all very similar...plus floyd did pretty much the same than in the hoya one....

i give oscar-mayweather the edge on diversity and that it was the first, so it had more impact.....

if you count countdowns then i think there are loads that are very good....

              JMM-Pacquiao 2
              De La Hoya-Mayorga
              JMM-Barrera

              cotto-margo
              cotto-mosley
              were all sick.......

im surprised calzaghe-jones will have a 24/7.....i think my boy roys drawing power is overrated............i mean winky did more ppv's as trinidads b-side lol......plus the jones jr-trinidad countdown and calzaghe-hopkins were not of the best countdowns.......im sure HBO will step it up a notch though....cant wait

                  How many PPV's did Winky-Trinidad do? Roy-Trinidad did 500k.

Forgot Taylor-Pavlik 1's countdown. It was sick, especially how that radio station guy ripped apart Taylor. I liked Calzaghe-Hopkins' countdown too.

I really liked the Calzaghe-Hopkins countdown, it was interesting to watch Hopkins going in and getting tested with Mackie, how intricate it was, and the build-up for it was really good.

The best countdowns I think overall were:

                    Taylor-Pavlik I & II
                    Hopkins-Calzaghe
                    De La Hoya-Mayorga
                    Cotto-Mosley
                    Marquez-Pacquiao II
