yeah these are two of my favorite fighters best of luck to both of them, but i think diaz might have a little more versatility and will be able dictate what type of fight it is since marquez is more counterpuncher.

Marquez by a shut out decision. Not even close. Diaz needs someone to stand in front of him and exchange like Katsidis or Julio Diaz. Campbell moved and completely confused Diaz. Imagine what JMM would do to this kid?

I can't believe how badly people underrate Diaz. He is one of the best fighters in the sport.

I agree. Unlike with Casamayor, Marquez won't be the guy with the younger legs in this fight. Diaz may retire him.

I want him to get that Campbell rematch sooooo bad to prove that he really is one of the best too, which is strange, because I don't even consider myself a fan.

Before that loss, I was wondering why he wasn't cracking the P4P lists... 3 lightweight belts, and back to back wins over very good fighters in Acelino Freitas and Julio Diaz. I just thought it was strange that he wasn't ranked.

He's the best of the bunch at 135 I think, except maybe Pacquiao.

I think Marquez can overcome Diaz' relentless pressure with huge blows knocking the young man unstable. If Diaz keeps a straight head he could pull of a decision, but Marquez will likely break him down from the mid rounds slowing Diaz late on. Marquez decision is likely, but a late TKO from Marquez is my prediction.

It would be a very good fight, it depends on how well Marquez can deal with Diaz' pressure, he hasn't dealt with pressure from a lightweight before, if he can deal with the pressure, then he wins but if Diaz can get inside and stay inside to unload his punches I'd give him a good chance at winning.
