Penalosa's looking for a high-risk, high reward fight, while Juanma's going for the no-risk, low-reward route. Well. another patsy on his resume won't hurt.

Penalosa will make Lopez look like an ordinary fighter... Lopez will find an opponent that's easy to KO that will make him look good... Yeah he can KO Medina.. He can maybe beat Penalosa but in an ugly decision fight.

Never fought out of Canada and has fought 10 and 12 rounders only 4 times in his career. Hasn't KOed anybody since moving down from featherweight where he used to campaign. He was knocked down in the first round by a bum in his last fight which ended in an eyebrow raising draw. Guaranteed KO win for Juanma.

The guy loses everytime he fights out of Thailand. Never fought anybody of note, except for De Leon. If this guy fights out of Thailand again, against a fighter with decent skills he'd lose - guaranteed.

Fought once outside Argentina and lost - against Bautista. He has decent skills but not really tested as his best opponent to date is Bautista who got smoked in one round by De Leon. Of the guys in this list, he'd probably give Juanma more rounds - three to be exact.

This definitely is a scary list of possible opponents for Juanma, they're waaaay better quality fighters than old-timer Gerry Penalosa. I'm sure team Juanma can afford to pay for these guys, and not overprice themselves out of a fight like Penalosa. Beggars can't be choosers.
Somsak whateverhisnameis is the only reason I put Poonsawat at #1. Sounds like I got the order right though.

I'd like to see him fight Penalosa, but a 50/50 split just makes literally no sense for a guy who has not won at the weight against a guy putting his title up for grabs.

I wonder why Gonzalez is not being discussed...

Like I said, big shot Juanma's looking for "no-risk, low-reward" fights. Johnny Gonzalez would be "medium-risk, low-reward" so he doesn't count.

Of course, Juanma only accepts "pennys" if he's facing MEDINA! Nyahahaha!

Why is Juanma "patsy killer" Lopez facing another patsy?
