Nobody said it will happen, just was asking your opinion on if it did ever happen, past or present.

lennox ain't coming back. lennox already beat vitaly. he'd lose now though because he's mad rusty, not because vitaly was ever superior to lewis.

Lewis appears quite satisfied in retirement. I don't believe he has any desire to train anymore, and is fairly aged at this point.

Lewis turned down big money for rematch years ago

clearly he was not confident of winning

a real shame, im sure everybody would have liked to see fight

If George Foreman could be competitive at a world level 2 months before his 48th birthday (a fight most thought he won against a young, 227 lb Briggs,) then anything is possible. Power is the last thing to go and LL had it in spades. Would I recommend it? Hell no. Nothing left to prove for Lennox, but that is a boatload of cash.

              Agree with this.

I will submit my theory now that alot of guys have put in their two cents. I think Vitali would have won the first fight had the cut not happened. Lennox was still sharp and active in that fight and did not look faded, he was just up against a great fighter who is awkward and hard to hit in combination. Based on that fight and fights since, I believe Lewis would not survive a fight with Vitali in an immediate rematch or if it were to happen now. Just a poor style conflict for Lennox, as he was for Tyson.

Back then since Lennox was active woulda won, but since he hasn't trained for god knows how long, not even to keep fit, how can he win?

Vitali should be ashamed to even suggest fighting Lewis now.

Im sure if Lewis really thought that he wouldn't wait for the WBC to force Vitali to fight Kirk Johnson, Get his own doctors to inspect Vitali's eye, and go back on his promise.
