Actually even with the knockdowns most people had Hopkins winning, I don't think it was a robbery but I don't think Mercado deserved the decision either.

Hopkins all but stopped Mercado on his feet in the 12th round. Literally, with 2 more seconds in the 12th B-Hop would have had the KO. If one guy is knocked down twice in the other guys home town, and the other guy STILL does not get the UD win, then you know who really won the fight.

Yeah but Joe coldnt decisively beat Hopkins at 43 years old. You know and I know that Hopkins should have won that fight. Hopkins wipes his ass with Joe and the Brit flag.

Mercado took a worst beatin then Gatti did against Mayweather...just watch the 2nd fight.
