This is an issue routinely ducked by the politically correct lobby, but at least here it can be open to mature and modern debate - should boxing be categorised by sexuality i.e. WBC ****sexual champion of the world? DO NOT poo-poo this ****phobes - this would, historically, given openly gay fighters such as McLellan, Tyson and Jones Jr the opportunity to be the gay world champions they should always have been. I also feel that a categorisation based on such principles would not only celebrate openly gay American fighters, but also potentially change this bigoted planet for the better.
