this has got to be the dumbest fucking thread ever
"yay me Im a Tony fan watch me **** on his hardest opponent yet!"
Thank you for being unbiased!..as well as I try to be..
but I can't help to believe that Cotto can and will take the rematch home..The first match was obviously goin in his favor by a wide margin..and continued that way wit a broken nose..and with Evangelista not sayin a word to him..(they were on bad terms from what I've heard)..until exhaustion took over and made him a defeated man..
Now those aren't excuses I just wanna see the outcome of the fight with out those 2 major factors not being the case in the rematch!..
As for the threadstarter..You are a sad excuse to boxing fans..
Go watch Kimbo or somethin..you're a straight CLOWN!..
Cotto has a psychological disadvantage if he fights Margarito. He will survive the fight with Margarito but I don't think he will win. Cotto will be forever haunted with this lost.
Thank you for being unbiased!..as well as I try to be..
Thanks man BUT....
but I can't help to believe that Cotto can and will take the rematch home..The first match was obviously goin in his favor by a wide margin
it will again be competitive and why we as boxing fans love this sport for sure
no it wasn't
by the time the fight was stopped Margarito was ahead on two cards and even on the other so explain to me how was it going in his favor in an unbiased way?
..and continued that way wit a broken nose..and with Evangelista not sayin a word to him..(they were on bad terms from what I've heard)..
cmon man if Cotto didn't make any excuses then why are you? See this is exactly why idiots like the thread starter and Diva Mexico come with idiotic threads like this because hardly any of you give any credit to Margarito
at all
to be honest its as tiring as hearing all the Margarito has no regard bull****
his stamina. his nose, his conditioning his back his bunions etc etc etc
stop already dammit. Tony won the fucking fight
until exhaustion took over and made him a defeated man
so none of the 237 power punches mattered it was the exhaustion that made him a defeated man?
Now those aren't excuses
its exactly what they are. You want Cotto to fight a clean scot free fight.
did it ever occur to you that fighting Margarito doesn't allot you that? I mean look at the fighter who beat him, Paul Williams. You think he came out of their fight unmarked and unbruised?
he won and still paid a price for it.
you really aren't giving Tony any credit so in turn why do you think they start **** about Cotto
think man seriously
I just wanna see the outcome of the fight with out those 2 major factors not being the case in the rematch!..
like I said if you fight Tony...you fight Tony. You aren't going to come out of it pretty at all.
if your fighter can't deal with it again then honestly he will lose again. If he can and keep Tony off of him enough then yes he has a shot.
but stop acting like bumps bruises and breaks arent a part of boxing.
IN FACT. Didn't Cotto have blood seeping out of his chin against Judah? Where was his exhaustion then? He lost a lot of blood then didn't he
As for the threadstarter..You are a sad excuse to boxing fans..
Go watch Kimbo or somethin..you're a straight CLOWN!..
We've seen that Cotto's chin was good in the first fight. If Marg is unable to knock cotto out cold in the second fight then cotto will probably have to quit again. Either that or take his beating like a man. How will the fight end? Surely the fight won't go as long as the first one.
What in the **** u talkin about young'n Cotto hasn't quit to begin with.. Acelino Freitas? QUIT. Samuel Peter? QUIT. Kostya Tszyu? QUIT. Cotto however got up to his feet before 10, he had his hands up he just didn't protest the stoppage but would have kept on going. his corner stopped it and that was that but those 2 knockdowns were knee's Cotto took to re-gather himself. not even the ref, his corner stops it eliminating all chances for dispute so being the man he is he listened to his corner and took his loss, you can't understand that much son?
The fact that Cotto couldn't beat Margarito tells me he was insanely overrated. Margarito would probably win again. I'm sorry, but if you are an elite fighter, you should win fairly easily over the one-dimensional Margarito like Williams did.

Cotto held it down for 11 rounds with only face shots, he had no body assault period. see that makes it hard cuz now you got a fighter who's key punch is the left hook to the body and he's not throwing punches to the body. even still he managed to get the better of the 1st half of the fight. Tony won, no doubt but don't play Cotto like a chump, he's still the better pugilist. in the rematch I see Cotto attacking the body and exposing Margarito's body.. it's what he should have done before and what I believe he's gonna do now, only time can tell but Cottoknows how to fight better than Margarito does it's just when you only using 55% of your ability (Cotto, without the bodywork) against 100% (Tony, with his face as a shield and wide body like a trap) you can't expect to do much..
Hasim Rahman did it to Lennox Lewis, in that case the better fighter lost but it was eventually disputed when Lewis came back and KO'ed Rahman. not to say Cotto will KO Margarito but he CAN win, he just needs to better prepare, he needs to execute HIS gameplan regardless what Tony is doing and try to be as effective as possible. as for your post, Williams is a long stringy fighter with a hard to hit style, Margarito's style was hard as **** for him, he looked horrible in winning and didn't really impress, Margarito just couldn't catch on early enough to steal it like my relative from Puerto Rico Indio did but it ain't like Paul proved anything, he beat Tony but with a frame like HIS if YOU know ANYTHING about Boxing you'd know Williams was SUPPOSED to win that fight, Williams could move up to Middleweight and reign if he wanted to, he got the height for it.

Cotto was elite because of who he fought, and below him stood Tony Margarito.
Tony got a chance to prove that he was better and he did.
Tony is used to brawling.. Not Cotto.
He has never taken punishment like that.. It was new to Cotto and was constantly moving and countering.
You act as if its easy to beat any fighter. Tony is a BIG welterweight.
