I dont think Cotto got tired because of the number of punches he threw, I think his broken nose and lack of oxygen had more to do with it, not to mention the killer body shots marg was hitting him with. Personally I think if you factor out the broken nose, Cotto can out box Marg. to a SD. Also with a fighter like Marg who takes constant hits to the chin, that "granite" starts cracking and chiping away over time, you just never know when it's going to break, and once his chin starts failing him he has no boxing skills to fall back on.

I dont think Cotto got tired, PERIOD. Whether it was due to his output or the nose, what people have to realize is that MARG broke his nose. It didnt magically break in between rounds.

If Marg didnt have any skills to fall back on besides his chin, he would never win and just wouldn't ever get stopped. The man wins.

anyone that knows how too look at a fight can see that even though cotto was outlanding margarito, it was margarito who was doing more damage and it was margarito looking like he was going to ko cotto not cotto going to ko margarito. you can even hear steward and kellerman saying the same thing from about the 4th round and on.
