I think this article pretty much explains everything I tried to say. I like when boxing experts write and make sense. I agree with everything about Vitali, Byrd/Lewis did not beat him. They got a win by something uncontrollable. I agree that he would have beat Lewis that night. I watched the fight again, and he was really not tiring out. Lewis promised a rematch that everyone wanted to see, but instead he ran away and has devoted his life to getting someone to beat him(not win by uncontrollable means). The Byrd fight like I pointed out was an injury that could have stopped his career(very serious) so the stop and defeat were worth being able to box again. If you actually went and watched his fights, he is a very complete boxer. He has great power, he throws good combinations, and a lethal jab. His defense is decent. I see the one main flaw being his lateral movement. I think all of you will be surprised come December when he knocks Williams cold.
