So just before the press tour he was claiming that he could make 147 no sweat because he's a natural welter but now it's a real struggle?? WTF??

Man, I can guarantee that before this fight everyone will be talking about it, and it only, and that it will be the biggest fight since Mayweather/Hoya and it will do massive numbers. It really will.
As for the article, well, that was just pointless. It will probably end up being a semi-close decision win for Oscar and even a half boring fight. I don't think it will be as exciting as it's made out to be, and Oscar will not go for the KO despite the ****e he's talking about it.
Most people think this will be a horrid mis-match but I really don't think it will be that big of one. There have been fighters like Manny that have gone up this much weight easily, but the difference was, that they were over the hill and old when they were fighting at these huge weights whereas Pac is in his prime years and it's Oscar that is old and ****e. I wouldn't be surprised if Pac came out and gave Oscar trouble with his speed and the southpaw stance. If he can just keep his right side protected when he throws his straight left then he can keep it going pretty even.
People are acting as if Oscar is still blowing guys out and is a great fighter. He struggled with Forbes at times, at least more than Berto did once Berto got his rhythm. He hasn't looked good in his last five or more fights and will really, really struggle to get down to weight. The Forbes fight was meant to be at 147 but he couldn't make it (Oscar). I will be surprised if he makes it now. I wouldn't even be surprised if Manny wins it. Can you imagine the amount of cash they could make together with a rematch? All this pathetic talk of KO's and bad blood is such bollocks! I still think that it was Roach who sold Pac out by making him take this fight in the first place. He will still get hit a fair bit and may even take a beating if it's a real fight and Oscar comes in half decent form, which could then make Pac struggle with the lighter weights again.
Anyway, I'm just spewing some random thoughts. It may end up a good fight and I don't think the weight will make as big a difference as people are making it out to be. Holloway, the guy he was sparring with, is a natural JMW and much bigger than Oscar. Oscar is a natural LW/JLW, not a WW-MW like everyone seems to think he is. Oscar is old and slow comparatively while Pac is prime and while it's well above his proper weight he will still be faster and reasonably strong. It won't look like Pac and Halloway did in those pic's.Last edited by BennyST; 10-15-2008, 07:06 AM.Comment

This is what I smell on fight night if Oscar cannot make and force himself to drain to meet the 147lbs.
Remember Eric Morales was force to drain himself to meet the 130lbs limit in this fight.Last edited by BIGPOPPAPUMP; 10-15-2008, 08:53 AM.Comment

I always respected DLH and I used to be a fan of the guy, but now I really resent the motha****a. Fighters always say **** they don't mean to help hype up the fight. That's cool cuz it's part of the business. But this garbage DLH has been spewin is nauseatin. I can't stand him anymore but I hope he does keep fightin after this bull**** Pac thing is over cuz I wanna see somebody **** his **** up.Comment
