Damn, Kelly makes 'Nard look small. I thought there was like 1 inch height difference but it looks more like 3. Maybe just the way they are standing.

Not sure Marc..Yeh B-hop fights ugly but if Pav comes to KO his ass Hopkins is gonna have to fight to survive in there...

This is definitely not a fight I would've taken if I were Kelly. Winky was a top 10 p4p when Bernard fought him, now? Off the radar. Tarver went MIA after fighting Bernard till he managed to find a non responsive Woods. A lot of people were excited about Calzaghe after the Kessler win. Now? Not so much. Even if he manages to win, he'll look bad doing it. And if he goes for the KO, like him and his trainer have been talking about? He'll get KO'd himself.

I guess if he wants to be a great someday, these are the types of fights he needs to take to grow as a fighter. But I personally don't think he's ready for what Hopkins is still capable of bringing.

This is where I have to disagree. Kelly needs these types of fights if he is ever going to improve. Back in the day, fighters fought to see where they stood. If he loses, then he has a loss and can work on it. If he wins, he gains much needed experience.

Too many fighters today take the safe and easy route. Hopkins has the ability to make Pavlik look really bad. Bad enough that Pavlik may lose, but he still needs this.

Too many today practice that safe and easy route. Guys like Pavlik, Dawson and Williams are willing to see where they stand. That is commendable no matter where they end up.

If he wants to end up great, he needs to take these type of fights where he puts it all on the line.
