I don't know if Tua would even have the guts to fight Vitali right now. Vit would win handily if they ever fight.

And who is Wlad? Why he is the best Heavyweight today and Toney wouldn't be able to lay a finger on him.

I also agree Sam Peter's power is overrated by many. All of his KOs were against mediocre opposition or a weak chinned guy (Maskaev).

Peter's power was overrated by some, but most people knew he was just a clubber with no snap or speed in his punch.

It's because he can't land on anyone because he is so slow.

I think he punches about as hard as Danny Williams.

If you want to see how a Vitali/Tua would pan out just watch Lewis/tua.

if Vitali beat Tua the way he beat Peter then
we can say Vitali is up there .. but Peter is a nothing fighter
he made his name off of a fight against Wlad .. but who is wlad ?
His power isn't overrated it's his skills that are over rated. Some of you dumbasses don't seem to realize that for your power to take effect it has to actually LAND on someone, and flush at that. Did you see Peter land on anyone recently? He literally didn't land A SINGLE PUNCH to the head in the entire fight against Vitali. He has plenty of power he just doesn't have the actual accuracy timing and skill to effectively land that power flush. When he does though he KTFO people.

I disagree. It is overrated by some, but not by most boxing pundits and true fans.
Peter has unbelivable raw power. His problem is that he throws looping punches and rarley uses combinations. He looks for the one punch knockout with every blow. He does not have the training or discipline to truly display his power in the ring. If he were to shorten up his hooks and uppercuts, and utilize his jab and develop a straight right hand, while mixing up body shots with his arsenal he could be very effective. He also has poor stamina. He could be a legitimate threat at heavyweight with a great trainer and with a newfound, intense work ethic in the gym.
