Jermain Taylor vs Jeff Lacy

The last time we saw Taylor fight a guy who opened up offensively with little attention to defense, Kassim Ouma, Taylor pounded on him for 12 straight rounds, landing at will, and won a wide decision. The only thing missing from that fight was a knockout, but Ouma has a granite chin and has never been KO'd.

I think we'll see a similar Taylor against Lacy. He should be able to box Lacy's pants off, land at will, and I give Jermain a 50/50 shot on the stoppage. Lacy's chin didn't look so great in his last fight.

Also, expect to see a physically impressive Taylor at 168. He weighed in at 164 for Pavlik II and was noticeably buffer than he was at 160. Having to cut less weight should help his stamina as well.

During the staredown they couldn't take each others' "mean face" seriously and started laughing.
