do u think jones was properly motivated for the Tito fight

do you think jones was properly motivated for the tito fight, calzaghe himself says he cant get motivated if he feels theres no danger in the opponent........ like the manfredo fight in comparison to kessler, its like he was a completely different fighter........

tito was a blown up welter?? the fight was PPV jones could have been generous to the crowd and stretching the fight, "thats the sort of person he is" IMO.. he dont have to prove himself at 39yrs

he looked like he was taking it easy.. i think jones can digg deeper and fight harder than he did against tito.. his timings still there aswell.. and he had a torn left bicep muscle!! that must be pretty painfull to throw left hooks..

the tito fight might have people fooled into thinking roys totally gone.. coz he wasnt doing much, he looked like the shell of himself.. but there were parts where he showed his old self.. can calzaghe bring more out of roy?

if your fighting a fight u know in yourself u can win with your eyes closed its not gonna motivate u is it... its a pisstake fight

i think he was taking it easy, calzaghe will push him and make him fight, he'll bring them natural instincts back..... calzaghe might unleash the old roy with the brits screaming.. they make it an electrifying atmosphere

although the decline in speed and reflex is more than evident to most of us fight fans, i will give roy the benefit in the tito fight...he gave tito the utmost respect by not going after him...and i dont blame him...fresh off retirement or not, you dont go headfirst against a reputed slugger

I think Jones' passive approach in the Trinidad fight had less to do with being nervous about the smaller Trinidad's power and more to do with him carrying his opponent. Jones has done this in many fights where he had nothing to worry about, particularly against Julio Gonzalez.

As George Foreman put it, Jones has never been a destroyer ala Bob Foster, he's a showman who doesn't try to knock you out. He just tries to entertain and toy with you.
