I got Pryor in this one, his workrate would be too high, he'd be too fast and he doesn't wear down, Pryor by clear decision, Pryor did have a tendency to get knocked down though so I think Chavez could score a knockdown but Pryor would come back and win.

Pryor wins because he had a plan B..

If his swarming style didn't work..He could box with the best of them.

Chavez could not fight backing up..and he sure as hell couldn't outbox Pryor if his straight ahead style didn't work.

Aaron didn't have any quit in him..The same couldn't be said for Chavez.

The hawk would have been too much.

Agreed maybe Chavez would knock Pryor down but the Hawk always jumped right back up, if anything when he did get dropped he got back up and went more hungrey and went for the stoppage even more etc ''Antonio Cervantes''

Yeah, he just got mad when he got knocked down, he came back with more intensity.

You obviously don't know your Pryor too well. He had as much quit in him as did Chavez, possibly even more. You forget that Chavez didn't quit until something like his 80 or 90th bout when he was getting thoroughly beaten by the better, younger, hungrier fighter. A fighter that also happened to be quite brilliant.

Pryor quit in around his 30th fight against a nobody (Young) when he sort of got hit and knocked down. He stood straight to a knee, unhurt, but decided to stay there for whatever reason. Not saying that he wouldn't win, but know the guys you talk ****e about before you say ****** things.

Pryor quit as much as Chavez did, it just happens that Pryor was also still young, just not hungry, whereas Chavez was old, had ten times as much wear and tear and also wasn't hungry anymore.

Edit: If you can also show me a fight in which Pryor could "box with the best of them" then I would love to see it. He didn't box. At all. He had more speed than Chavez, but was also more wild, he had an underrated defense but was still easy to hit at times because of that wildness. He couldn't box with the best of them because if he could have he would have when he needed to, but he didn't. If you can even show, or tell, us a fight in which he was in against a brilliant boxer and had to box himself then I think we would all love to hear which one that might be ... ?

1 loss and he's a quiter. As we all know, the drugs probably had something, mentally, to do with that. Anyway, to the person who said Pryor left himself open, YES. Still didn't matter if he blocked punches with his face. He couldn't be hurt, it was ridiculous. He was part robot or something. He would get right back up. So, I think he might've tood a KD against Chavez but knowing Pryor it would've only re-energized him more. This guy was non stop. Too much pressure for Chavez, anyone for that matter. Pryor by decision. Hawk Time!

You don't know **** from show polish.

Pryor could box if he had to.

Chavez quit TWICE...both for ***** reasons..A split lip against Oscar..and a cut high on the forehead against Randall in the rematch.

''If you can also show me a fight in which Pryor could "box''
Well in the first Arguello fight Pryor does actually start to box in the middle rounds moving around the ring, timing and picking his shots nice and Pryor showed a good boixng brain when wanting to box. Even Suger Ray gave Pryor credit for his boxing ability.
