I've watched a lot of fights but I've never been as mad and dissapointed at the same time as when I was watching Hagler vs. Leonard. I've watched this fight certainly more then 5 times and I always scored it in favour of Marvelous Marvin. He got robbed that night.

I'm not really objective on this though since Marvin is one of my favourite fighters but I sincerley doubt that he would've lost the fight if he fought anyone else that night. Ray Leonard's road to succes was a lot easier than Marvins. He was always everybodies darling and while Hagler had to work his ass of to get the respect he deserved he (Leonard) was a star right after the olympiads.

This fight meant everything to Hagler, it wasnt just his biggest payday and one of the most anticipated fights ever, it was a clash of two different ways of living. Hagler the honest and hard worker versus Ray Leonard the big grin and soft drinks advertiser. Hagler was the better middleweight, he was fighting Leonard past his prime and it didnt hurt his legacy. But for me, he could've lost to anyone just not to Leonard. And I still doubt he lost it anyway. Everytime I think about this fight I see the picture of Hagler just waiving his right hand in total discust. I love boxing but after watching this fight I learned to hate it as well.

Most recently I could've shot anyone claiming Oscar DLH beat Felix Sturm. There's a young bright german talent finally making the move, boxing where it most matters against one of his idols and they just rob him of his biggest win, of a possible matchup with Hopkins and a secure place in boing history. And you guys still wonder why so few of this European champions fight in the USA...

It's always good to try and stir things up at times, so I'll give that.

Just wondering though, what it was that Lennox said and when?

And health care in Canada is bad, eh? Yeah, I suppose universal health care at no cost must seem "bad" to somebody.

Don't forget when your slaggin' the Canucks, that you could be wasting your time, we're probably not paying much attention anyway. We've got too much great beer and BCBud in our systems to get upset at much.

bascially all of tysons losses upset me. i also expect him to dominate his opponent and when he doesnt it kind of takes away from his image of being a great fighter. i was also upset when RJJ lost to johnson and tarver.

This is an easy one. It's so easy I have two.

                  1) Meldrick Taylor to Chavez

                  2) Alexis Arguello to Aaron Pryor (both fights)

Tyson to Douglas - Biggest upset in boxing history.
McClellan to Benn - McClellan was headed for greatness and was derailed for life by a headbutting, rabbit punching, cheating bastard. Sorry, but that fight still pisses me off. The referee in the bout was a total ediot and was clearly favoring the home town fighter Benn.
