Does anybody agree with me that he has absolutely ****ty footwork?
He makes up for that with his height and leaning back movements, combined with hard counterpunching, but still what da **** is this?
His footwork is in a class with Valuev, he really should work on it.
Apart from that, good performance, crushing Peter and yadadadayada has already been said by everyone.
Gomez only chance to win some rounds against him is to use his much quicker feet.Comment

My poor thread was hijacked
I just think he could be even better with better footwork. He can't improve his power, speed n stuff by much, but his footwork could be much better.
His brother is only a little bit smaller and got much better one.
I can't believe I said "better" so often.Comment

He's a pro, if he's smart he took enough time to acclimatize. The audience has an influence on a fighter, but he should be used to it and as a pro he has to handle with that.
If he was afraid of Vitali he should've thought "damn I shoulda train more"
He came in overweight.
Lesser weight would've meant more bobbing and weaving, faster feet and a more competetive fight.
I think he just was lazy and content with the loss.
Vitali is old (nobody knows how old Peter is, but I think he's a few years younger than Vitali) and the heavyweight scene is weak, maybe he just thought "Vitali will retire and I will get a titlefight sometime soon"Comment
