pavlik vs abraham his the best middleweight fight that can be made, bob arum talk alot of **** when he says he wants to pit his fighters in with the best the sport can offer!!! why he wont he try and make the fight at 160 to unify the division in a way

abraham destroy miranda in my opinion in more impressive style than pavlik did but pavlik may of soften him up for abraham but the weight was raised which favoured miranda!!! would be a good fight especially with abrahams high guard and the guy is a counter punch but can give rounds away, pavlik for me even though i respect him always fights hard but i tend to get the impression that he his one dimensional... i know people try and make out that he his not straight forward i think he does come in straight lines and that someone like hopkins could feast on him i just hope hopkiins has trained hard for this fight as i think he could spoil the pavlik party

well while pavlik is trying to get money fights abraham should be trying to get sturm.

Abraham would be smart to wait and fight Pavlik above 160, either at a catchweight or at 168.

I think Pavlik beats him at 160. Above 160 though, AA probably gets the advantage.

I can understand wanting to unify the belts, but I also think he's too weight drained at 160 to match Pavlik's power, much less remotely keep up with his work rate.

And...breathe. It's difficult to know what's going on in Abraham's head when he's fighting, at times he seems to just be giving away rounds, but he has an uncanny talent for picking the right moments to turn it on. Hopkins would give him a great fight, but Abrahams high guard and counter punchings, plus tough chin mean it's not that predictable either.

Hopkins wouldn't have his usual openings constantly, but instead have to find them which he doesn't like. Plus at any given moment Abraham just lashes out, if he does that when someone like Hopkins of Pavlik is even slightly out of breath, lands hard and accurately the fights changed instantly.

I find it interesting Abraham and his people saying they've heard little from Pavliks team since AA beat Miranda, and that Winky wasn't up for fighting in the Germany. I've always said both Kessler and Abraham are eager to fight Pavlik and have said as much, funny how little gets said of that but instead a guy 2 divisions above soon to retire somehow ducking Pavlik.
