Is Haye underrated?

I think Haye is becoming underrated by some people before he has even had the chance to prove him self at heavyweight. He is the Undisputed Cruiserweight champ and has great power good speed and quick footwork although a somewhat suspect chin. I have seen many threads now stating that he doesnt have a chance against the Klits fair enough but isnt it a bit early to say this?
I have seen it before when fighters are given no chance and turn out to be the best in the division. Remember that Ali was knock down by Cooper who would be a small cruiserweight today, and Ali went on to have a great chin, Ezzard Charles was knock out by a middleweight but came back to win a heavyweight title, I am not saying Haye will turn out as good as these fighters but lets wait and see what happens against Barrett and then if he does win, against Wlad before jumping to any conclusions.

Haye's Boxing skills are severly underrated IMO

people think he is just a ****er when he is actually a skilled counter puncher aswell you dont land power punches like Haye's without having skill to get the punches home quite a few of his knockout have come from counter punching opurtunties

Gurov,Bonin, also came from countering ,Haye is an underrated counter puncher no doubt about it

what Haye is not good at IMO is finishing his oponents allthough he has not come uinstuck yet i feel it is a matter of time before he does he needs to work on staying calm when his man is hurt instead of rushing in and throwing wildly like he did with Bonin,Enzo,Williams because if at some point his oponent will weather the storm and Haye will be knackered

Yeah against Bonin he was a bit wild, Haye has a very good jab when he uses it and against Mormeck he was landing excellent body punches.

sorry to cut ya wisdom.....but Haye never was the UNDISPUTED CW champ! He was the WBC,WBA,WBO and ring champ! The IBF strap was missin from his so called clean tp of the division. Joe Calzaghe and Bernard Hopkins are 2 fighters who can say...."I cleaned out my division by beating ALL the belt holders"......there are a few more who can state that claim but David Haye isn't one of them....the word UNDISPUTED sounds good but we all know he's just a dude who was considered the top CW due to technicalities! Steve Cunningham is the best CW in the world and time will tell it......Time masters illusion and time will show you why David Haye didn't wanna fight Steve! Haye never mentioned Steve's name........what a coward!

And Cunningham was a champ as you say according to a technicality, as O'neil Bell was striped of it, Haye had said he would move up to heavyweight after fighting Mormeck for the true cruiser weight title but he stayed for one last fight against Enzo he did not duck Cunningham. How is it fact that he avoided Cunningham when he allready said he was moving up after the Mormeck fight but stayed to take on his main local rival Enzo. And how is it fact he wont beat any Klit until they fight nothing is fact.
