Well, threads about how there's nobody willing to fight Juanma hogged this forum last week, then three or four days ago, Penalosa called Juanma out. Now here's another article not only calling out Juanma but saying that he is "hiding"...and not a peep from the Juanma camp. bok bok bok?

Gerry Penalosa Tells Juan Manuel Lopez To Stop Hiding

Perhaps learning from celebrated trainer Freddie Roach’s needling of Oscar De La Hoya who, after some pondering decided to take the fight against Filipino ring idol Manny Pacquiao despite criticism for picking on a much smaller fighter, Gerry Penalosa is using the same tactic to try and draw WBO super bantamweight champion Juan Manuel Lopez into a title showdown. Juanma isn't that scary once you boxrec his opponent's background...

Cesar Figueroa - one-time NABF featherweight champ lost all his fights at superbantam via KO. Patsy

Daniel Ponce de Leon - held the WBO superbantam title was beaten by Caballero, had luckluster performances against Escobedo and a smaller and older Penalosa. Never really beat any superbantam of note.

Jonathan Oquendo - never held any title of any sort at any time.

Omar Adorno - never held any title of any sort at any time and was on a two fight losing streak (last one via TKO2) before facing Juanma.

Hugo Dianzo - held regional belts at bantam, moved up to superbantam but was 2-3 on his last 5 fights. He was 33 years old when he fought Juanma.

            Giovanni Andrade
            - Gets knocked senseless everytime he fights outside Brazil was 38 years old when he faced Juanma.

Jorge Otero - former WBA federalatin superfly champ, moved up to superbantam but lost 6 of 8 fights before facing Juanma. He was 35 when he faced Juanma.

Levi Brea - WBC CABOFE featherweight champ was coming off a KO loss before facing Juanma, lost every fight thereafter. He was 30 when he fought Juanma.

Cuauhtemoc Vargas - captured the vacant WBC Continental Americas super bantamweight title lost it via TKO, he was 33 when he faced Juanma.

Jose Alonso - former NABA bantamweight champ in 2000, practically retired, returned in 2005 as a superbantam (had 1 fight). He took another fight in 2006 (lost via TKO) before facing Juanma - he was 32 years old then.

Edel Ruiz- 28-14-4 when he faced Juanma, he lost 6 of seven fights after...need I say more?

Doesn't seem scary... Penalosa's a way better fighter than these bozos, the only thing Gerry Penalosa and much of these guys have in common is old age.

You my friend are hating. At the finest extent.

Juanma will rid of Penalosa. Its a dangerous fight for him. A young lion, you can't be serious. Juanma is young and hes getting better. Relax with the resume comparison bro. Not even comparing, but even bringing out fighter that he has fought.

              You are a hater.

If I was Lopez, I would be scared of Penalosa too. "This world beater named Ponce beat him, and then I knocked Ponce out in one round... how will I cope with Penalosa???"
