Question about referee's

Does anyone know how far in advance before a fight does a referee get chosen to ref the fight.



Also a question about the belts. If a boxer has all four belts and he is mandated to fight the number one contender for let's just say the WBC and that challenger wins the fight, does the challenger take possession of all four belts or just the WBC.

Referees are usually determined a week or two weeks before a fight. Yes the challenger takes possession of all the belts unless he doesn't pay the sanctioning fee for one of the organization's belt.
