How would Tarver have done against Dawson in his prime?

Would he have won? Would it've been closer? Or would it've been pretty much the same?

Let me know what you think.

Similar result I think. Dawson is just too skillful and would always have beaten Tarver with sustained combination punching. Might have been a little closer but still a Dawson UD I think.

I agree. I think it would've been closer, but I think the story would've pretty much been the same expect Tarver would've won a couple more rounds during the fight.

I think dawson is good but overrated. I dont think he ever really hurt tarver and i thought tarver blocked alot of his punches. I dont really like or dislike either fighter, im just callin it how i saw it. A younger and quicker Tarver woulda won in my opinion.

Basically the same, just not as one sided. Tarver would have won a few more rounds to keep the score close but he still wouldn't have matched Dawson's punch rate in the end.

It would've been closer, and would've depended on which Tarver showed up.
