I have more respect for guys that get KO'd in 10 seconds than guys that just stand around trying to make it to the bell

So when the Klitschko's win, it's always about how awful their opponents were.

Scott, you gotta abmit Sam Peter looked absolutely awful last night. He didn't have game plan or anything and his conditioning was horrendous...

Well sure, you can't possibly put a good spin on his performance. But often when a heavyweight feels his opponent's size and power in the first round, they simply can't deal with it and psyhologically give up. That happened to Tyson when he fought Lennox. Nobody had a reason to think Sam was anything resembling a multi dimensional fighter going in. Like everyone watching, he realized in the first round the only way Vitali could lose would be if he got injured (again).

Sam Peter did not take this fight seriously. There was a training video of him floating around NSB a week or two ago, that showed him hitting the mitts like a school girl. He had zero intensity in his training for this fight and Vitali took advantage of it. Vitali was in the best fighting shape of his life last night. That was the difference in this fight...

I thought Vitali looked great myself. The Klitschkos mostly do fight really well if they are a bit boring. But Peter was absolutely atrocious. You can check and see in the poll where I predicted a rout in this one, so I expected it to be ugly, but Peter didn't even ****ing try

I'm not criticizing Vitali at all; just Peter

I just don't think Peter is a very good fighter.

On a side note, Danny William's stock went up. So every cloud.

Why is that when people are critising or slating the supposely WBC/number 2 fighter at HW some other people thinking they're trying to take away from Vitali's victory???

Vitali was amazing for a fighter who hasnt fought in 4 years but peter was simply terrible.

idk toney rahman the first match was pretty terrible for both guys.

scared ibragimov vs an overly by-the-book wlad was pretty sad too.
