I heard him say stuff like that. He seems concerned about staying in the game too long and wants to get out of the game healthy, while being fairly rich of course.

and most fighters fight 2-3 times a year. So does that mean he is retiring in 2010.

I dont believe that at all. I saw an interview where he said he wanted to move through the divisions, and once he loses (he will eventually), he'll get that hunger I'm sure.

I wouldn't mind that at all if he did. Yes he is a very exciting fighter to watch, but man, imagine if he gets the fights he wants. He resume would look like

Lockett
Hopkins
Calzaghe
Abraham
Sturm
Dawson

If that was anything close to that he could retire in my books!

He should take bs fights in-between like gary lockett fights and not try to fight the best every single time. Because I rather see more then 4 fights from a young fighter even if they are against good opposition. He could have a total of 8-10 fights before retiring if he fights lockett type fighters in-between fights.
