    35 KO's in 36 wins....best heavyweight KO% of all time

Vitali is a great fighter and one of the best heavyweights of all time
great fighter is a bit stretching it but ATG is way too far! He's knocked out Spongebob, Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse, Goofy, Tom, Jerry and last night he got Yogi the Bear! get Real man! Vitali and Wlad are lucky to be in an era when the division is the weakest it has ever been!!

It really wasn't surprising to a lot of boxing fans, most fans figured that if Vitali still had something left in his tank, he'd be able to beat Peter, it's the ease in which he did it that was surprising to me. And sometimes knowing when to quit is better than going out and getting beat up some more, I think this was one of those instances.

Peter fought like a douche. He had some tangibles to overcome - Vitali's height, reach, awkwardness - but I thought he would jump on Klit in the first couple rounds. Especially since VK's been on a milk carton for 4 years. Instead he didn't even barely press the action and threw pathetic range finding jabs. It was a diabolical performance.

i dont think a true champ quits

thats the one thing i hate about duran (all time fave of mine), although he quit out of frustration, not fear and he did redeem himself after

but yeah a fighter that quits has to seriously redeem themselves in my book......

I think the reason he quit was because of that open scoring bull****. I'd quit too if I knew I was that far behind in the scoring.

As I said in another thread, sometimes it's the smart thing to do, if Duk Koo Kim had quit on his stool, his death could have been prevented, same goes for Leavander Johnson.

The Duran instance was different, he quit because he was getting frustrated, he wasn't getting beat up or anything like that, the fight was still relatively close on the scorecards so of course that was bad.
