I expect Pavlik to win against this version of Hopkins, and he may stop him, but it would be Hopkins on his feet with the ref stepping in. Not really likely seeing as how Hopkins has a great chin and defense, but Kelly has a better chance then most.

Pavlik won't bring anything new to the table that Hopkins hasn't seen. Hopkins won't be getting knocked out by Pavlik's predictable, robot offense. Hopkins will neutralize that big right hand somehow, or at the very least not let it hit flush more than a few times.
Take away that big right cross and Pavlik's got no other tools to knock out Bhop, cos let's not forget Bhop is still one of the best counterpunchers in boxing, not to mention one of the best defensive fighters as well.Comment

i th9nk hopkins will score a KD or maybe even hurt pavlik with a counter right but i dont see hopkins going down or getting a KO.

Pavlik will stop Hopkins if he can really work him late into the fight. He has to set a pace Hopkins can't keep up with. If he can get this old Hop completely exhausted, rounds 11 and 12 could be dangerous for Bernard. I'm thinking Kelly does him in primarily from body work.Comment

I think just defeating the old Hopkins will be kind of meaningless, Pavlik has to stop him to make a statement. And I believe he will.

B Hop is far to crafty of a fighter. I dont see him being stopped at all, although I do believe he will lose to Pavlik.Comment
