anybody that thinks vitali's win wasnt impressive is just fooling themselves he is amazing. i mean how many punches was he hit with 3.nobody beats him. if he could have stayed healthy his entire career he would be one of the best.and if not for the weak division still could.
nobody beats vitali at heavyweight!

Peter lookede lifeless and he never really tried to press the situation. The open scoring is discouraging to a fighter and it was the reason from him quiting. not to mention all the hoopla surrounding the fight Vitali being reconized as the Champ as well as Peter the WBC give Peter no respect same as the y did to Oleg when he and Peter fought. I hope Peter comes back fromt his and does his thing again....LeftyComment

It wasn't that he didn't try, just that he couldn't find any way to get close enough without eating that left, followed by a right every time. Vitali kept in the middle of the ring, giving angles, moving outside and countering every time Peter tried to get inside. Peter isn't that bad, Vitali is just that good and makes him look that bad. Everybody thinks they have the answer to Vitali, until they get into the ring and try it out.Comment

From what I gather, there was only 1 injury, and later a bony spur growth on his spine...The rotator cuff injury during the Byrd fight could happen to anyone, hasn't recurred in several years, and doesn't seem to be a concern.
I think he'll be fine, for as long as he wants to fight, probably 2 years, at least that's my guess.Comment
