It looked to me like he quit because of the open scorecards the most.

Had they not announced that he was way behind and couldn't win on points, he might've still hung in there. Just knowing that you're losing badly ****ed him up mentally.

His promoter Duva said in an interview after the fight that Peter's quitting had nothing to do with the scorecards, it had to do with wanting to protect Peter's health for later fights.

Peter is definitely not in his late 30s, that's ridiculous. He wasn't a full grown man when he started boxing in the 1990s. Read more about him before jumping to a ridiculous conclusion like that.

                    .
Why does it matter what his promoter said?? Did you not watch the fight?

Peter himself started shaking his head NO when his corner was giving him intstructions for the next round. That was right after he heard the scorecard announced. Nobody stopped that fight for Peter to protect him, he quit himself.

Don't be so hostile. You using what a promoter said to try and make a point was ******. Simple as that.
