but you position yourself by beating one of the biggest names and title holders in the division by doing so regardless of the age. Now Dawson may appeal to other fighters in the division or below that like Kelly.

It doesnt have anything to do with what Mayweather says. It had to deal with Dawson outclassing and putting on a hell of a show against a rather good fighter. Also Dawson showing that his defense is strong and that he has improved since the Johnson fight.
