The judging was an absolute disgrace in that fight!

I mean, how could they possibly have those scores? It was ridiculous. Two judges gave every round to Kilt, and the other guy gave every round bar one to Klit! Disgraceful!

How could any judge have given one round to Peter? It was impossible to even make a case for him winning one close round, or for there being a swing round which could have gone either way. That guy should be roped, garroted and burned at the stake.

Anyway, I thought it was boring as ****e to be honest. Klit looked ok against one of the worst heavy champs in recent history. If he keeps fighting without injuries for a little while longer he could take over the division again. Though I still want Haye to break it up and do something, even if it's getting knocked out after a great, exciting fight, because an exciting fight is what is sorely, sorely lacking in the heavies today.

    Good comeback for Klit.

You had me man. I thought you were going to claim the fight was closer or something crazy. But yeah, I can't believe Peter even got a single round..

The judging was a disgrace because a judge gave "one" round to Peter?

I was surprised that a judge gave a round to Peter, and the Showtime commentators thought so too.

When a guy is getting dominated in every other round, sometimes a judge will give him one for not totally getting his ass kicked

I can't believe Peter fought so terribly. I'm starting to wonder whether he even trained for this fight. Maybe he thought that after such a long lay off, and already having knocked his bro down three times, he would be able to walk in and KO Klit in the first couple of rounds or something.

I really didn't think there was a close round in that fight though. Obviously the judge that gave a round to him was just being nice.

BigPoppa: Well, did you see a round that could have been given to Peter? That judge might as well have made it a draw. At least then there would be something interesting to talk about. As it was though, giving one round was a bad as giving a draw and having the fight go to Klit as a majority decision win. Maybe the judge was talking to Don King on the phone while the first round was in session and when it finished he thought that Peter would probably have won it ... ?

Yes, that's what I figured. He was given a round for trying to not get beaten. The guy gave him props for not getting beaten too badly.

Did anyone else think that Klit looked really tired in the last couple of rounds? As in exhausted? Certainly understandable considering the long lay off, but he did have the whole fight his own way and the pace was his etc etc. I hope he gets his stamina back, 'cause he won't win every fight with the stamina he showed then.

it is not that pter fougt terribly, u have to remember he is fighting vitali klitschko. the only guy to give VK problems was the legendary lennox lewis, who was getting thumped aside from the glancing punch that opened that cut. of course, lewis' constant head/hair to cut worked out well for lewis. but all of that drama aside, it seems like lennox lewis has been the only guy to have ever been able to make a compelling fight against vitali.

i think that speaks of the caliber of vitali's skills. he is a man not to be ****ed with - even at age 37.

oh yeah, no more excuses about lewis being old in that fight since vitali came back after a 3+ year layoff, multiple injuries(one which took 6 months of rehab), and went straight to the champ of the wbc without a tune up. and made the champ look like a tune up bout.

as i said before, vk has a special way he fights. he uses great body position combined with power, a variety of techniques, and that unique ability to read a fighter.

                well done bro!

I like Vitali, and the fact he gave Lewis such a tough fight proves how good he is, just as it proved how good Lewis was. I just find it a bit laughable that some of you still try and hide the fact he took a lot of heavy shots and paid the price for it. It seems some of you still like to believe the loss was due to one freak punch, even though Lewis landed a lot of bombs and clearly marked his face up besides the main cut.
