    The Black Panther Waits

I'm not sure what exactly is going to happen now, as it is boxing and nothing is ever straightforward. But for me [and probably not surprising to some] Juan Carlos Gomez must get his chance if Klitschko decides to carry on. I don't see anybody out there except for Gomez who can beat Klitschko at this point. Haye needs to prove what he can do first.

I don't see why he isn't being given a shot at a title.

JC Gomez is a very underrated fighter. I don't understand why he gets ignored so much, he's only lost once.

He's the complete package: power, speed, and slick skills. He also has that confusing southpaw style.

            Gomez might get his chance.

I think Vitali said that he is looking for the WBA title but Chagaev and Valuev have to fight each other first.

That will leave Vitali some time to take on Gomez.

I feel a little sad for Wladimir as he won't be able to unify all the titles after all but he can settle business with Haye now, IF Haye proves to be a worthy contender.

I don't think Vitali will fight him. Vit is not looking to have a long reign here. He may take one high-profile fight if he can find it, but Gomez is not that.

Gomez will likely get to hand-pick an opponent for an interim title, but he's not a guy who can hold onto it.

He should try to make a fight with Ruslan Chageav. That's the best-skilled matchup at HW

I just hope a decision will be made early rather than a long process of trying to guess what's going to happen. Gomez is not a young man himself [in boxing terms], and it would obviously be better to fight sooner rather than later, regardless of who it's against.
