My answer is that there are 40MILLIONS MEXICANS AND MEXICAN/AMERICAN descents and they all watches boxing hahahaha.
The media will ignore the fact that Williams is a better fighter compare to Margarito and has already beaten Margarito because he doesn't have a strong following.
EVEN IF MARQUEZ BEAT A 37 YEARS OLD "OVER THE HILL" CASSA. THE BOXING MEDIA WILL LICK MARQUEZ BALLS THE SIMPLE FACT THAT HE IS MEXICAN. MEXICANS ARE KEEPING THE SPORT OF BOXING ALIVE.Comment

This was on youtube since Dec 20, 2007. Juanma vs. Oquendo was late February and the Oquendo fight was announced second week of January 2008. He chickened out, afraid his date with Ponce de Leon might get derailed.
Oh, and just how weak was Oquendo? Boom Boom Bautista made the guy quit in sparring! Boom friggin Bautista!
