Sorry guys...3 threads in a row but i have to say it (regarding Paulie)

If you seriously think Paulie has a shot at beating Hatton, you are seriously missing some screws.

Paulie's a step below the top level guys. He hung in with Cotto....fair. But he got busted up in the process. In his last fight, he was less then impressive against a durable, tough journeyman, but his fight was agaisnt N'Dou....who really hasn't caused any top level fighter problems...ever. You could argue that Lovermore won that fight.

Secondly, Hatton doesn't look like much. Pale, stocky, ugly, kind of a big head. But the guy is authentically tough like no other. I used to read the hype on him, I thought he was a machine. He's not....he's clearly lost a step. But he's still a step above Paulie both on boxing ability, toughness, and rign smarts.

You can't win a fight if you are constantly thinking abotu your right hand (regarding Paulie). He's had that thing broken about a thousand times.

And you can't win a fight if you have only one way to win.

Remember Ngoudjo guys? I sure do.

    Hatton's going to tax him.

And you can't win a fight if you put fashion before fighting.

Honestly, the hair extension saga was possibly the most ridiculous thing I have seen inside a boxing ring.

He hung in there with cotto after takeing a lot of punches, but he also started the fight wrong, he did not use his game plan untill after the knockdown.
i think he can keep hatton away and box his way to victory, im not makeing predictions but, hatton did nol look good againts luscano, even tho he won, so i dont know what hatton will show up, and if floyd tries to make hatton into a boxer, paulie has the cards in that chapter

I think you're the one with a few screws loose. Hatton a step above Paulie on boxing ability, toughness, and ring smarts?? In regards to Boxing ABILITY its not even close. Paulie is on another level in terms of boxing ability.. Toughness? Paulie hasnt been stopped or really seriously hurt and lasted 12 rounds with Cotto with a broken eye socket while Hatton has been stopped and repeatedly hurt by light punching guys (Collazo and Lazcano). And ring smarts? Yeah he's so smart continuing to leap and lung with his hooks after he got KTFO by mayweather.

Urango is a pretty tough mofo. Lazcano is possibly better than he is given credit for. Both fights Ricky won with massive points magins. Remember? I sure do.

Personally I thought Ricky fought great against Laczano. He took 2 good punches... big deal. Paulie has no power, that's why he only has 5 KO's, and sure he can dance around as much as he wants, but the fact is he's getting a beating from a pitbull called Hatton. End of story.

I remember the fight well, yeah, but people tend to dramatize the fact that he was stunned for a minute.

You honestly think Malignaggi can hurt hatton like that? I sure don't!

i never said that paulie could hurt him, i said if lazcano can hit hatton then paulie wont have a hard time, if hatton couldnt put aways a fighter that you cant miss, how is he going to take care of a guy who he cant hit?

He'll get there, don't worry about that. Like father Mayweather said, he can run but he can't hide.
