If you seriously think Paulie has a shot at beating Hatton, you are seriously missing some screws.
Paulie's a step below the top level guys. He hung in with Cotto....fair. But he got busted up in the process. In his last fight, he was less then impressive against a durable, tough journeyman, but his fight was agaisnt N'Dou....who really hasn't caused any top level fighter problems...ever. You could argue that Lovermore won that fight.
Secondly, Hatton doesn't look like much. Pale, stocky, ugly, kind of a big head. But the guy is authentically tough like no other. I used to read the hype on him, I thought he was a machine. He's not....he's clearly lost a step. But he's still a step above Paulie both on boxing ability, toughness, and rign smarts.
You can't win a fight if you are constantly thinking abotu your right hand (regarding Paulie). He's had that thing broken about a thousand times.
And you can't win a fight if you have only one way to win.
Remember Ngoudjo guys? I sure do.
Hatton's going to tax him.
