    Different strokes for different folks.

I'm very excited about Vitali vs. Peter and and Adamek vs. Cunningham.

too early to tell at th moment but still

well the year's not over yet so it really depends how Pavlik-Hopkins, Hatton-Malignaggi, Jones-Calzaghe and Pacquiao-DLH turn out

plus tomorrow I'd see as pretty big with the already mentioned Tarver/Dawson

but those 4 remaining fights, plus the one directly above could potentially make or break 2008

as of those 13 original "noteworthy" 08 fights 2 were mismatches, one was a FOTY or upset of year candidate, one was very boring till the 2 KD's in the final round ... and well the first on the list is tabbed as the "biggest fight of the year"

and i dunno about everyone else but the announcing of the Dream fight kinda "****** the wind" outta the fight game IMO

I mean your supposed to care about the "biggest fight" of the year right?. So why do I find myself not giving a damn?

**and oh Richard Schaefer's comparisons of the Dream fight to the Superbowl while somewhat accurate are kinda ridiculous

the Super Bowl doesn't cost $54.95

but anyway 2008 isn't over yet, and there's a good solid 3 months left.. hell the Cunningham/Adamek and Holt/Torres are in later December so that'll make the month a bit more well rounded. plus isn't Wlad fighting Povetkin in December?

That list was portraryed in an odd way. List two appears poo but is actually as good if not better. Just difficult to put recent criticisms aside. I'd say tie.

well it's hard to compare since some of those fights haven't even happened yet

by the middle of December we'll have a better perspective.

Marquez-Vazquez 3, Cotto-Margarito, and Pacquiao-Marquez 2 are 3 of the best fights, and 3 fights that were huge events at my house so I have to say 08. My house was going bananas during the first two mentioned fights.

07 was a hellavu year. Hate to admit it but 08 felt kinda empty with the Pretty Boy.
