The reaction on here was absurd. It was like winning a football match 7-1 but being criticized on your performance because you let in a goal.
    Nicely put.

      Who has the most KOs

      Hatton should win, easy.

Especially know that he has Mayweather Sr.

      Compare the Ricky and Paul.

Paul is a paper tiger. Hatton is the real deal compared to PM.

Mannnn Ricky needs to be himself, he aint a boxer he more a brawler he just needs to work some D and he'll be straight. he dosent need to try and get all fancy. IMO if he changes his style up to much i think he could lose this fight... even with Mali's glass hands

Even though Hatton's finest hour was beating Tszyu he always looked best in the fights where he boxed, threw neat combinations and made his opponents look silly. They did happen you know.

Mayweather training Hatton is probably why this fight is of more interest to me.

                  it won't be PPV, it won't have a 24/7

but im still looking forward to Hatton/Malignaggi

I seriously doubt it. Dont get me wrong im sure Mayweather Sr will make him better in the technical area but lets face it the guy has been using his style for a very long time and what does a fighter do when they are in trouble in the ring? well they revert to what they know best because they think thats their only chance to make it out so i expect him to use his mauling/grindin style when he thinks he is losing or when he is gettin hurt a bit and he wants to try and turn the momentum. which actually i mean its not a bad thing to do he's gonna do what he's most comfortable with. how mayweather sr will react lol well idk...

The only thing I can think of him improving so far would be the use of his jab. He didn't look any better than he should at this stage. He was just throwing simple, half-power shots and probably still getting use to Big Mayweather. I really didn't think he looked anything special, you know. Not better than he has looked before.

It will take more than one month to get something out of Mayweather. I think it is good for him at this stage because if he is only fighting a few more times than anything that will keep his motivation and inspiration up at this point is good. It will keep him fresh and training hard with some new things, though nothing much will change that we can see. He might learn to use his jab more effectively and also his technical flaws may change a bit. One thing he has to change is the dropping of his right hand when he throws his left hook and that is something Big Mayweather will change for him.

I had a look at an older training vid of him doing some rounds on the heavy bag and he always drops his right. How someone didn't pick up on that earlier is disturbing. It's so obvious and anyone that watched any videos as an opponent would zone in on that exact punch and flaw. Both Mayweather Jr and Lazcano did and I can also imagine Malignaggi will try to use it.
