hopkins pavlik will be worst than hopkins-tarver

pavlik is as you said tailor made for hopkins, hes a basic, crude and orothodox. JC is different hes a harder fighter to hit, he has better reflexes, world class footwork (against hopkins anyway) and is just a whole lot smarter than hopkins or pavlik put together.

bernard is as you said one clever sob and he knows the fight game and if taylor can knock him down with a barrage of punches expect bernard to either floor him or hurt him in 6 rounds.

whoever takes the last few rounds will win this fight, traditionally old hopkins has always been strong down the stretch because he knows his limits and paces himself very well (i.e. wright, tarver, tito) - however he couldn't manage it vs joe for either one of two reasons (or a combination of both) old hopkins is now 43, and joe put educated pressure on him. kelly cant do the last bit but he does have stamina and a big heart and if bernard shows signs of fading in the last few rounds a KO might be in store for the exeutioner.

Having said ll that i still think bernard will do well he'll take the first few rounds and let pavlik take the middle maybe on work rate alone while he himself has a breather, then i expect him to finish strong.

WOW Larryx! I think hopkins is in danger of being stopped in this fight! He'll lose on work rate alone! **** pavlik knocked out and then decisioned the guy that beat hopkins twice in a row when hopkins was younger and better than he is now! I like hopkins but I don't see him winning this fight. I see him trying to hit and hold but it's not going to work!

Hopkins can definitely pull it off, but I see his old age being the factor here. I think Hopkins will be too inactive and perhaps fade, and Pavlik will beat him by UD. I could be wrong though.
