I think Peter is doing alot of lifting during camp, and this has, historically, always been a bad idea for any fighter. The strength gains are always more than offset by the losses in speed, mobility, and endurance. I don't think it'll be much different in this case. What I don't get is...why? Knowing he's going to be facing a bigger, stronger guy in Klitchko, and that he'll need to be able to keep on his toes....why would he (or his trainer, whoever's idea it was) pack on more muscle, rather than try and improve his footwork, upper body movement, and conditioning, especially against someone as big and mobile as Klitchko. I'm quickly coming to the conclusion that about half the "expert" trainers are just ****ing idiots, or glorified yesmen.
Again we would never know what sort of training any boxer goes through when in training camp, speculating based on a few clips or weigh in result doesnt mean anything.
I want Vitali to knock Sam Peter out, but I can see Vitali easily outpointing Sam Peter to a Decision since he looks to be in great shape. Meaning I'm not 100 percent sure if were going to see a knock out like were all expecting... I want to see this fight now!!!

In this case, after seeing Peter's photo above, I'm fairly comfortable making the guess I did. He doesn't look like he's packed on fat, just muscle. If he'd been doing conditioning, he wouldn't have put on more muscle, just increased the efficiency of what he had. Knowing this, he pretty much had to either shoot 'roids, or lift, and I'm guessing he's not ****** enough to try and get away with 'roids at this stage, so that leaves lifting. His "roadwork" probably consisted of a mile or so a day, if that, with the remainder spent on bagwork, sparring (when it was still time for sparring), and lifting.
We'll know more after the opening bell, but I'm pretty confident here.

he doesn’t look like he has put on a massive amount of muscle any way its difficult to tell from just 2 photos.

I didn't say massive amounts of muscle, just that the extra weight looked to be muscle, and not fat. If it were massive amounts of muscle, 'roids would be almost a guarantee, but that's not the case. He's somewhat heavier than his heaviest, doesn't look like he's got more body fat than he did last time out, so it's got to be extra muscle mass. Since it's not, as we both agree, massive amounts, it's got to be lifting, not 'roids. That time on the weight machine would've been far better spent running, or even better, swimming laps.
Like I said, nobody will know for sure until the first round, but I don't see any other explanation.
It looks like Peter has fallen into the same trap as other Klitschko opponents, albeit to a lesser degree. If Peter's plan is to stop Klitschko early, it could backfire very badly. It's the wrong Klitschko for that plan to be a good one. This has all the signs of a Danny Williams massacre all over again.

It would be difficult to tell from those pictures if Peter has add any sort of muscle on, The guy is basically fat/big i pretty sure if he wasnt a boxer he would be really really fat.
Peter is 10lbs more then what he weighed in for the Wladimir fight. Maybe this will give him more power and help him deal with Klitschkos size better but its not good for the later rounds. Vitali by ko/tko between 7-9 rds. Klitschkos weighed in at lowest hes been in awhile, his past few fights before the lay off he always weighed in the 250's but looks like hes really going for this one. Injury problems are past him
