  • Vitali Might Actually Make It? Peter/Klitschko Report Card

By Cliff Rold - The title says it all. After an unfortunate and aggravating, for fans and the fighter, rash of injuries in 2005 forced multiple cancellations and an early retirement for Vitali Klitschko (35-2, 34 KO), fans wondered if they’d heard the last of the Ukrainian.

I wonder if this guy would be interested in giving me 2/1 odds.

Wow, Cliff, you're picking Big Sam. I like that you don't mind swimming against the tide but I believe that while acknowleding Vitilay's toughness, you underestimate him in that category. Vitilay's sheer guts and intention will carry the day as long as Peter isn't allowed the advantage of his huge, illegal rabbit punching as he was allowed against younger brother.

In his last two fights, Peter was on ***** street against Maskaev and went down 3 times against McCline. Peter is very hittable and Vitali is much better finisher than McCline and Maskaev. All Vitali needs to do is to survive first 3 rounds without damage, while getting into his rhythm, and knock Peter out in mid-late rounds.

            Boy, that's a good point.

Wlad is a harder and a more proven puncher then Peter, I think this is one of the most obvious concepts in boxing.
