I have VK taking Peter out in the 9th or 10th rounds. But with so much up in the air with Vitali, who really knows.Comment

Can't believe how many clowns are picking Sam Peter by stoppage. Sam Peter is a horrible fighter and only looks to have gotten worse since the wlad fight not better. Vitali should have peter eating that canvas in 8th-9th round, too many people are picking Sam Peter because of Vitali being away from the ring for 3-4 years? Thats dumb, has anyone ever seen peter fight? he is horrible as hell. Vitali would have to be more then shot then Oleg Maskaev to lose to Peter. And he lost in the McCline fight, he should have 2 losses on his record and some people even think he lost against james toney(didn't see that one), so that makes 3 losses.Last edited by ACHlLLES; 10-10-2008, 04:11 AM.Comment

Sam Peter will win by decision or possible late fight TKO (10th round or later).
Vitali has been away for too many years and i think all that time off without a single tune-up fight is going to be his downfall because peter has been staying active and progressing with every fight.
Peter wins.Comment

Peter has improved muchos since the Wlad fight. For evidence just look at his fights with Toney, particularly the rematch where he showed excellent stamina, ring generalship, pretty much everything was working that night, minus the blip against McCline - the three KD's - and let's be honest, that was a late substitute and McCline is huge, and awkward - he has looked very solid, he's 9-1 in the period of four years where Klitschko hasn't even had a fight, Vitali is in for the shock of his life on Saturday night, Peter will be on him like a cheap suitComment

the second fight he looked good against a 40 year old former middleweight,
wasnt Toney ill before the second fight aswell?
McCline is not much and took the fight on a weeks notice and put Peter down 3 times,
McCline was gassed from the midway point onwards, maybe if he had more time to prepare he would have wonComment

Toney has proven himself at HW so all that 'former middleweight' tagging is pure bull****. He's as big as a heavyweight now, he has a great defence, still some great tools, and no one had dominated him like Sam did since Roy back in 94. The first fight was real close, Toney was countering brilliantly, the second Peter won nearly every round, threw a bunchload of punches and looked great.
Vitali stands upright, his chin is in the air, he's stiff, and he hasn't fought in four years. Now he's fighting the heavyweight divisions most dangerous puncher without a tune-up. Gulp. Peter will decimateComment
