If Taylor almost had Kelly out of there, I see no reason why Hops can't take it one stage further. Hopkins has way more experience and probably hits harder than Jermain. Kelly, as much as I like the guy, has blatant flaws which Bernard can take advantage of. Kelly is kinda one-dimensional, always throwing (therefore very open to being countered) and likes to come forward and press the action. This is exactly what Bernard wants.

Bernard Hopkins knows the game better than any of us, and surely if he thought he would have to suffer the embarrassment of a Pavlik KO at this stage in his career, he wouldn't have taken the fight?

No way Kelly KO's bernard. Not a chance. The likeleyness of Bernard sending Kelly to the canvas is far greater. Kelly would need to hit Bernard many, many times to get a T/KO, and that, my friends, is almost impossible with Bernard Hopkins. The guy is elusive, to say the least.
