What kind of shape is Vitali really in?

Vitali Klitschko has been quoted many times as saying that he's in good health and perfect shape to fight. However, just looking at the few training camp photos on klitschko.com, Vitali does not look in such great fitness. He doesnt look ripped really considering he's been training for one of the biggest fights of his career for 12 weeks.
I just realised... most people are focusing on his past injuries, but is his age and aerobic fitness level actually going to be the big factor?
Perhaps the weigh-in photos will give more of a clue...

Having hung that question out there, I'm going to still pick him to win TKO7 ... lets see!

LOL@ Nautilus. He looks Ok to me. He won't be as fit as before right away but he is still in a different class to Peter and should KO him before the end. I think he may have been taking steds during his lay off. It is the reason why he was disqualified from Olympics. He's been taking steds again trust me and will comeback with a bigger Ironfist punch than before. The way he man handled Danny Williams was shocking. Steds= superhuman strength.

Steroids didn't work that way for Toney, Jones, Mosley and Evander Fields. I don't see them having superhuman strength.

Vitali has never used steroids during his pro boxing career - not now or ever.

Vitali is still and always will be in better shape then Sam Peter. And he is older too!!!

You can see the definition in his biceps and triceps on his left arm.

He's probably training really hard and keeping up a good calorie intake for the energy expenditure because he is such a big man + genetics means he might not be ripped even though he is in great shape.

Also, just look at Sam Peter.

Vitali has fought in and around the 235-250 mark for a good portion of his career. for a guy who is 6.08 that is amazing. if he is within that area 250-255 that is still in good shape because most people his size are usually heavier. i think the weigh-in is today so we will be able to see what shape he is in.
