Calderon, Bonilla Offer Opinions on Felix Trinidad's Return

Felix "Tito" Trinidad, 35, is still planning a return to the ring. After winning titles at 147, 154 and 160-pounds, two retirements and three bad defeats, the Puerto Rican icon wants to give it one last run in 2009. He last fought in January, losing a twleve-round decision to Roy Jones Jr. at the catch-weight of 170-pounds. It was Trinidad's first fight in almost three-years. [details]

Agreed. Either retire or go down to 154, 160 if you really can't get down that far. Watching him fight a bigger guy like RJJ was hard. If he really cant get his weight down then he should just fight Vargas in a comeback fight. They can just eat as much as they want and fight at cruiserweight.

Totally Agree!. As much as I love watching Tito fight, I dont like him fighting at 170he doesnt have power there. The RJJ fight made that clear, and thats the only way he can win with his strengh and power, because he doesnt have his boxing skills anymore. Tito should fight at 160 and if he is for real I know that he can make 154, cuz Tito is not that heavy, he walks around 180. The thing is the only guy that I see that Tito can beat at 170 is calzaghe because of calzaghes styles of potshoting and moving forward, even Hopkins knock him down, besides that man theres nobody else to beat. Now at 160 he could face Abraham, Pavlik andd ect. and be succesful. At 154 nobody will beat him, forrest is not same he was, Santos is no match for Tito, Philips is a joke abd drikzinik just fights in europe. and maybe he can get Atonio Margarito on 154,A fight a bet Margarito wont take even if they offerd 15mil to him. tito still hav eposibilities but not a Supermidleweight. hopefully he chooses right and move down in weight or just plain retire!!!!!

tito would do all right he hasnt taken a beating the last few years . he could be the 154lb champion easy. he would make a good run at the middleweight title also, he and pavlik are both slow and have punching power, but not above 160lb.

Tito is irrelevant unless he can get down to 160.
