Does anyone here actually think Mosley can beat Margarito?

Well let's keep it real.. Yeah Mosley didn't look that great against Mayorga.. But Mayorga was HUGE in that fight.. I think he weighed in at like 170lbs on fight night. And 154 is not Mosleys best weight.. I think he's much better at 147. Hes a very tough dude. And styles make fights. Also in the Cotto fight he looked like the fresher fighter down the stretch between the 2. Mosley is no pushover for Margarito. I think it would be a toss up with a SLIGHT edge going towards Margarito because he's the bigger man and throws alot of punches and has great stamina.

I like margarito's style but ssm is just a likeable guy and deserves to go out a champ. That said people want to talk about Mosley getting hit too much have you ever seen MArgarito get hit as much or take the damage he did agaisnt Cotto. Some dude has a spanish speaking interview with MArgarito on youtube immediately after the fight and his face was just beat to a pulp. add that to the fact that Mosley will be just as motivated for this fight as he was against Cotto maybe more cause this is realistically his last shot at a title. Cotto against Mosley used his jab and made Mosley become the stalker taking him out of his element to win that fight. Margarito will be Margarito. Come forward, throw a **** ton of punches but I think he will be surprised by Mosley's aggression and punching power. The punching power and hand speed being the two biggest factors. I pick Mosley by a shocking KO.

          A younger Mosely--Yes and a 38 year old Mosely 30% yes.

Mosley has no jab, an average defense, and slowed speed + reflexes. The thing he always goes to when fighting bigger boxers is flurry punching, but what is that going to do to Margarito? He can't hurt Margarito and he certainly won't outwork Margarito. Mosley is more brawler than boxer, and I doubt he can change that to beat the best brawler in the division.

Mosley will use more footwork and clinch for this fight. He CAN win a SD if he doesn't stand still in there when he lets loose. I love Marg, but it looks like he absolutely needs to be set to pummel you. I'll be honest here, even though I had Ant over Cotto, Miguel didn't prepare smart and body punching didn't need to be a factor. He'd stay on the ropes too long, didn't clinch, and tried to tough it in the trenches one too many times. A formula for a beating against the tornado. Hard to win a fight playing into a man's strengths like that.

Yeah bro but that fight was a year ago, fighters age between 36 and 37. I agree Shane looked like he wasnt far past it against Cotto last year, but this year against Mayorga (who is no Margarito, not anymore) he looked like he every day his age.
Margarito has the style that older fighters cant deal with, and Shane wont have the punch to end it early. That said, Margarito wont have that punch either, which worries me cause I can see an old Mosley not giving up and taking a solid 12 rounds of beating.

well vargas was also huge in the second fight and it didnt stop mosley from winning every single round and knocking him out cold

mosley is too brave for his own good he will try to **** with margarito and that will be his mistake
even if he tries to do his best mayweather imitation mosley has always been a speedy skilled brawler and margarito never loses to brawlers no matter how skilled they are example: cotto
