  • How much longer will Margarito be at the top?

Like it or not, the way fights is very taxing on his body, and he isn't the most skilled fighter. With that said, how much longer do you give him?

He continuez to take jizz all over his way. Then he won't last, Baldy was the same way...In that he had a REALLY good chin...Now the dude is getting rocked by bumz in the spanish channel. Just as soon as the Paul fight happenz...If ever...Then Margarito will fall again

I DON'T KNOW HE'S BEEN FIGHTING THE SAME WAY SINCE THE AGE OF 16, WAS A 9 YEAR CHAMPION, BEEN IN THE SAME DIVISION FOR A DECADE SO IT'S NOT TO SAY HOW MUCH LONGER BECAUSE HE'S ALREADY LASTED!!!!! He is in tremendous shape! He body doesn't take much punishment! His body defense is one of the best in the game.

        His defense is underestimated..

Cotto himself said he couldn't hit him as much as he wanted to.

your right! cotto was frustrated in there! I think cotto landed like a total of 7 or 8 more total shots! most of them jabs! margarito killed him in power shots landed by like 20 something shots.

well, yea...im sure cotto wanted to land every punch also...

unless your name is golden johnson, you're gonna be able to hit Mags...as far as longevity, its a valid question...he's been boxing for about what, 15 years? and with that style, if he keeps fighting elite boxers, i give him about 2 more years at this level

Tony is only 30 years old dude, I don't think he's been in too many wars as many people claim, he did start boxing at a young age but the most I've seen Tony take some solid punches was against Cotto which was visible on his puffy eyes after the fight. He easily makes 147 and never struggles with the weight so I give him 5 to 6 years of a good and solid boxing career IMO.

He's been fighting for a long time. He's only 30, yes, but he's been fighting since a very young age. When you have Paul Williams, Joshua Clottey, and a Miguel Cotto rematch looming up ahead, along with all of the other talent, it's very logical to ask this about him.
